Last day strolling about
June 7, 2023
Take it easy getting up and about, first to the Mori Museum (ok, but not more than that), and then start hunting for that elusive centerstand my recumbent project bike in Denmark will get. This is how I remember things best; having a physical object tied to a vacation, a person or some experience. Four bloody hours, six or seven places (of which two are closed), and finally get it at the last option back in Nishi-Kawaguchi.
Then packing the check-in luggage and walk to Andreas to say goodbye there, with promises of us meeting again when they're in Denmark next time.
Subway posters, some of them self-explainatory.
Ueno Park visitors, below the smokers' area there.
Outside the park somebody is getting nailed for something.
One of the better artworks at Mori, with a multitude of numbers counting up (or was it down?), representing the life of people in a Buddhist sort of way.
The Japanese garden outside the shopping mall below the museum.
Quite interesting architecture, but the area was a bit posh for my plebeian taste.
At the shopping mall below the museum there's the distinctly Danish
sounding place called 'Børnelund' ('children's grove).
